We believe the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to mankind, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason (2 Timothy 3:15-16; 1 Peter 2:2).

God

We believe there is one eternal God. He exists in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 1:1-2, 10:30).

God the Father

We believe in God the Father as the maker of heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1). Invisible, immortal, and dwelling in unapproachable light, He cannot be seen apart from Jesus. (1 Timothy 6:16, John 14:9). He is the Supreme Ruler of the universe (Psalm 103:19).

God the Son

God the Son is the Lord Jesus Christ. He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23), lived a sinless life (Hebrews 7:26), performed miracles (Acts 2:22). He died on the cross as a substitute for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:3) and physically rose from the dead 3 days later (Matthew 28:6). He ascended to heaven and has been exalted to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9, Acts 2:33). He will return again in bodily form (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

God the Holy Spirit

God the Holy Spirit is co-equal, co-eternal and co-existent with the Father and with the Son. Personhood reveals that the Holy Spirit knows things (1 Cor. 2:11), He experiences emotions and can be grieved (Eph. 4:30), He makes decisions of His own will (1 Cor. 12:11), among every other ability that a being with a personality has. We are currently living in the age of His ministry being the active ministry of God on earth (John 16:5-7). The Holy Spirit generates new life when we place our faith in Jesus which is the birth from above (Titus 3:5, John 3:1-16). Through the work of the Son, we are baptized with the Holy Spirit (John 1:33, Acts 1:8) for power to be witnesses for Jesus.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, purchased by the blood of Jesus on the cross and confirmed by His resurrection from the dead (Romans 5:8, Ephesians 1:7, 1 Corinthians 15:12-20). Man’s responsibility is to believe that Jesus rose from the dead and confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord - this should be followed by repentance, that is, turning from sin and to the Lord. (Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38)

Baptism

The Lord Jesus Christ, Head of the Church, established two sacraments for the Church to follow as a means of grace. Water Baptism and Communion. Baptism in water, by full immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord. It is for all believers. This holy sacrament identifies the believer with Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection and through faith causes the remission of sin in a believer’s life (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4; Acts 20:21; Hebrews 10:22, Acts 2:38).

Communion

The ordinance of Communion is also a commandment of the Lord Jesus that must be received consistently until His return. Only believers can come to the Table of the Lord, which consists of the bread and the cup. His body and blood, as portrayed in the bread and the wine is to be physically consumed in remembrance of Him and unity in Him to reveal the spiritual reality of Christ in us. (John 6:54, 2 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 11:26).

Sanctification

The Scripture teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ’s return. Sanctification is the process of becoming more and more like Christ internally, which is revealed through the outward growth of spiritual fruit (I Thessalonians 5:23; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14, Galatians 5:22-23)

The Church

The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the church of the firstborn. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22; 1 Corinthians, 12:26-27).

Healing

Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17).

Resurrection

The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, is the imminent and blessed hope of the church (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Titus 2:12; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; Romans 8:23).

Judgment

For those who are not written in the lamb’s book of life, there is only the second death, which is eternity in the lake of fire apart from God. (Revelation 20:15)

For those written in the Lamb’s book of life, each must stand in front of the throne and give an account for every action. Everything will be revealed and the things done in Christ will be rewarded.  (Romans 14:12, Romans 2:16, 1 Corinthians 4:5)
